The ROHDE TE/MCC+ series of kilns are designed to be expandable in size, so you can start with a smaller model and then grow to a larger size later*. The ‘Rohde design’ can help with installation and limited access. You can separate the main cylinder with lid, base and legs to go through a narrow doorway (>550mm). The top temperature is 1280°C; however, it is designed for a daily working temperature of 1240°C. For a regular high-firing production model see the TE/S series kiln.
This kiln is a quality professional kiln designed for those who are regularly firing to lower or mid temperatures with the occasional high firing.
*Note, some models in the MCC+ range, are at the larger size already and cannot grow. See list below.
Kilns with increasing volume potential:

Special features of the TE/MCC+ series:
- 2 layers of insulation, including super-efficient thermal bricks and 15 mm microporous insulating board.
- The kiln sizes 75, 100, 130, and 200 can grow with an additional ring.

- Gas strut, spring-supported opening mechanism for the lid, which makes the lid lighter to lift and close.
- A quieter working kiln using solid-state relays.

The MCC+ series of kiln is available with lid heating. Note, it will need an additional 3kw.

Controller
The new European ST 310 Stafford controller uses its simple firing graph to easily see what stage your firing is in. The ST 310 is a standard issue with a Rohde kiln but you can upgrade to the ST 411 for more program spaces and segments.
